At Essendine we are very proud of our children and their achievements and are constantly looking at ways in which we can improve our provision, so that all our children thrive academically, socially and emotionally. To do this we aim to provide a safe and caring environment, where all pupils are nurtured and challenged to reach their full potential and become well-rounded, confident individuals.

Providing an exciting and engaging curriculum is essential to our success and is designed to present rich learning by investigation and questioning. Activities are delivered through themes that set learning in a relevant context to meet the needs and interests of our pupils. We make best use of the wonderful historic area we are in, organising visits to enrich learning and field work to provide meaningful links to real life in lessons.

All our pupils are supported and challenged to be the best they can be and to reach their full potential in all areas of academic, sporting and artistic achievement. A specialist learning hub supports pupils with a variety of learning needs.

We know learning is a continuous process and developing effective relationships with the wider family is important to achieving success. Our dedicated staff are available to support families to become part of the Essendine family. At Essendine we work together and grow together!
